As a CTO and educator, I’ve seen a recurring problem that quietly sabotages digital transformation efforts. A similar situation has occurred with the Big Data transformation in Thailand, and I am now witnessing the same scenario with the AI transformation.
Each business unit has its budget and develops its own technology to address its pain points. On the surface, this appears to be agility. In reality, it’s often a recipe for architectural chaos, duplicated effort, and missed opportunities.
